Would you eat the chicken?

Would you be eating a chicken, if it eloquently could express its emotions?

Would you be eating a chicken if it was able to defend itself?

Funny thing is, that would apply to plants too!

That's how the food chain works, and everyone has to accept it. Tastes may be relative.

  1. Oddly enough - we don't eat plants (with the exception here and there made for lettuce and other herbs). We mostly eat fruits of plants - the taking of which doesn't kill the plant. If someone you know is eating grass as a regular staple, or is trying to bite into an oak tree, then I'm not sure, but under any circumstance, fruits are not the plant-life equivalent of meat.
